PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, capable of backing up the in-process game status and the payoff residual number of prize balls at low cost. SOLUTION: A main control board C for controlling a game is provided with a residual prize ball number counter 13a for storing the payoff residual number of prize balls not directed to be paid off to a payoff control board H and a prize ball payoff counter 13b for storing the payoff residual number of prize balls directed to be paid off to the payoff control board H, whereby even if power failure occurs, the values of the residual prize ball number counter 13a and the prize ball payoff counter 13b are backed up with the in-process game status in a backup area.
