PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric reel for fishing capable of readily grasping conditions of excess and deficiency of a motor output value and drag setting force and responding to the motor output or drag force regulation in conformity with conditions of a fishing place. SOLUTION: The electric reel for fishing comprises a spool rotatably supported on a reel body, a spool motor mounted on the reel body and driving the winding of the spool, a motor output regulator mounted on a side plate of the reel body so as to enable displacing operation, a motor output regulating means continuously increasing or decreasing and regulating the motor output of the spool motor according to the displacing operation of the motor output regulator and a drag apparatus mounted on the reel body and regulating the drag force for the spool by operation of the drag force regulator. In the electric reel, the drag force regulator is mounted on the side of the side plate of the reel body to which the motor output regulator is mounted so as to be rotatable in the front and rear directions.
