A deformable quadrilateral supporting the seat (121) has top and bottom bars (18, 19) hinged to the front of the chassis (2) and linked at the rear by spacers. A second deformable quadrilateral supports the footrest (123) and links the chassis to the above first assembly. A drive assembly between the first assembly and chassis performs a pivot-controlling function to move the hinged structure from a low to a high position where the seat, footrest and back are aligned on a pseudo-vertical direction and vice versa.
