<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a nearly lateral pyramidal solid type air bag by means of surface sewing manufacture as well as to perform the manufacture of this air bag in automatic sewing production by machinery. CONSTITUTION:A bottom fabric 1 constituting the base of a pyramid and another fabric 2 constituting either of a top face or bottom face are integrally formed, while a fabric 3 constituting the other side of the top face or bottom face is formed as a separate one, and individual fellow sides 4a-5a, 4b-6a, 5b-6b are joined together from each of double side-edges 1a, 2a, 3a of the base fabric 1, both top and bottom fabrics 2 and 3, whereby the sidepiece of the pyramid is constituted, and using such a fabric that nearly triangular side fabrics 4, 5, 6 are integrally extended, and then this fabric is bent and sewn by the specified method.</p> |
