METHOD OF SURFACE IONIZATION OF POLYMER PRODUCTS FOR PROTECTING ELECTRON WAVE, PREVENTING ELECTRIFICATION AND HARDENING SURFACES

PURPOSE: A method of surface ionization of a polymer product is provided to increase surface hardness and electron wave protecting ability and to prevent electrification so that the users and electronic elements can be protected from electron wave or static electricity and the work life of the product can be elongated. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of: maintaining the vacuum states of a main chamber and pre-chambers in front of and in the rear of the main chamber to 100,000 torr by means of a vacuum pump; locating a product to be ionized at a spring holder on a carrier in the inlet chamber and conveying the product to the main chamber through a pre-heating chamber and a pre-chamber; controlling the beam current of the power supply applied to the ion generating part in the main chamber to a constant degree, generating a plasma by heating a filament or by an arc generating gun, and irradiating the cation obtained by incorporating helium, argon or nitrogen gas; and transferring the product irradiated with the cation in the main chamber to the pre-chamber and then discharging the product from an outlet chamber.
