摘要 PURPOSE: A driving mechanism of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided to use an inexpensive first driving motor of small capacity by reducing load applied to the first driving motor by distributing load to the first driving motor and a second driving motor in balance, thereby reducing the manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A transfer apparatus transfers an image transfer substance. An image forming apparatus forms a predetermined image on the image transfer substance. A first driving motor(100) drives the transfer apparatus and the image forming apparatus. A first power transmitting mechanism(110) transmits power of the first driving motor to the transfer apparatus and the image forming apparatus. A fusing apparatus fuses the image formed on the image transfer substance. A discharge roller discharges the image transfer substance. A transfer roller transfer the image transfer substance for duplex printing. A second driving motor drives the fusing apparatus, the discharge roller, and the transfer roller. A second power transmitting mechanism transmits power of the second driving motor to the fusing apparatus, the discharge roller, and the transfer roller.
