<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust core useful for the realization of a reactor that can be adapted to a high-frequency switching power supply with a large capacity. <P>SOLUTION: Alloy powder having a composition of 3.0 to 8.0 wt.% silicon, 0.1 to 1.0 wt.% oxygen, at least 0 to 2.0 wt.% one kind of manganese, aluminum, vanadium, chromium and titanium (0 is not included) in total and the balance being Fe and having a grain diameter of substantially 150 μm or less is prepared. Binder is mixed with this alloy powder, and a metal mold is used for compression molding. Thereby, a dust core having alternating-current permeability at 20 kHz of 20 or more in direct-current applied magnetic field 12000 A/m, a core loss characteristic of 1000 kW/m<SP>3</SP>or less under the condition of 20 kHz and 0.1 T, saturation magnetization of 10000 G or more and a coercive force of 3.0 Oe or less is obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
