PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing system which can reproduce information data simultaneously in a free order during a copying process without waiting for the copying process to end and also continuously copy data in the background even for change in use state such as ejecting a CD during the copying process and turning off the power source. SOLUTION: While information data are copied at a high speed from a program CD to an HDD 2, recording information data from the HDD 2 as a transfer destination are reproduced and the program transfer state in the fast copying is managed to enable free modification of a reproducing program, ejection of a device such as a CD during the copying, power-off operation of the device, and continuous copying after insertion or power-on operation.
