PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medal washing device which improves the washing of coins used as metallic currency or medals used for a game machine such as a slot machine. SOLUTION: In the medal washing device, a separation part is equipped with a separation means of separating a medal and abrasives, and a washing part is equipped with a polishing-priority processing means which can make the processing time of polishing long and a capacity-priority processing means which can make the processing time of polishing short; and the medal washing device is provided with a selecting operation means which selects one of the polishing-priority processing means and capacity-priority processing means.
