PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polylactic acid core-sheath conjugated spun yarn capable of forming a woven or a knitted fabric having a stiffness feeling and soft surface touch and further excellent pill resistance and the woven or knitted fabric obtained therefrom. SOLUTION: The core-sheath conjugated spun yarn comprises a sheath part composed of staple fibers and wrapped around a core part composed of filaments. The core part is formed from filaments (A) composed of a polylactic acid polymer and the sheath part is formed from the staple fibers (B) composed of the polylactic acid polymer. The ratio of the filaments (A) to the staple fibers (B) is 20/80≤A/B≤40/60 expressed in mass ratio. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
