PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens drive unit of an optical pickup device. SOLUTION: On both lateral faces of a lens holder 1 on which a drive coil and an objective lens 2 are mounted, a support member 4 supported by each of a plurality of suspension wires 3a, 3b, and connection members 5a, 5b which wind around an end part of the drive coil on an extension of suspension wires 3a, 3b supported by the support member 4 and solder the suspension wires 3a, 3b are set up, and each of the connection members 5a, 5b are disposed at different distances from the support member 4.
