PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a flexure hardly rattle while the flexure attached to a load beam is extended to the plate side. SOLUTION: A suspension is provided with: a plate 19 attached to a carriage 5 side and rotationally driven around an axis; the load beam 21 having a rigid body part 25 and a spring part 27 and supported by the plate 19 so that the spring part 27 is adjacent to an end part 19a of the plate 19 and applying a load to a slider at a tip part; and the flexure 22 having a head part 13 for writing and reading information to and from a hard disk, a conductive passage 47 for sending signals to the head part 13, attached to the load beam 21 and extended toward the plate 19 side. The flexure 22 is provided with a tongue piece 59 for jointing and fixing, which is jointed and fixed to the spring part 29 with the end part 19a of the plate 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
