A distributor device for an agricultural machine 2 for spreading granular material, such as a seed drill or a fertiliser drill, comprises an at least partly circular housing 26 with an inlet member 32 arranged to be associated with a hopper for granular material, a plurality of outlet members 12 arranged around the perimeter of the housing 26, wherein the outlet members 12 are arranged to be associated with coulters, and a closing off device comprising a driving device for closing off at least one of the said outlet members 12. In accordance with the invention, the closing off device comprises a closing member designed to be moved in the direction of the perimeter of the housing 26 and essentially across the direction of flow of the outlet members.
