PURPOSE: An opening control valve of a muffler is provided to change the opening degree of an exhaust gas flow control valve depending on the operation mode of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A valve(40) for controlling the flow of exhaust gas is formed at one side of a through hole. The valve comprises a pair of brackets(42) formed at one side of the through hole, a valve body(41) axially combined to the brackets via a hinge shaft, a torsion spring(44) maintaining the closed state of the through hole by the valve body, an auxiliary bracket(45) formed outside the brackets, and a tension spring(46) for reducing the restorative force of the torsion spring.
