PURPOSE: An optical coupling module assembly and a packaging method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs by simplifying a coupling structure of the optical coupling module assembly and using a manual aligning. CONSTITUTION: An optical coupling module assembly includes an optical fiber cable connector(1), an adaptor(4), a printed circuit board(40), a silicon optical bench(30), a photoelectric element, an optical coupling lens(10), and an optical module package housing(50). The optical fiber cable connector(1) includes an optical fiber. The adaptor(4) is connected to the optical fiber cable connector(1). The adaptor(4) includes the first guide pins. The printed circuit board(40) includes a control circuit. The silicon optical bench(30) is installed on the printed circuit board(40). The silicon optical bench(30) includes the first V-shaped grooves corresponding to the first guide pins. The photoelectric element is installed on the silicon optical bench(30). The optical coupling lens(10) is installed on the silicon optical bench(30) in order to cover the photoelectric element. The optical module package housing(50) is used for protecting the printed circuit board(40).
