PURPOSE: A cooling device for a light source is provided to improve cooling efficiency of a Peltier device by circulating cooling liquid used for cooling the light source. CONSTITUTION: A cooling device for a light source includes a Peltier device, a cooler, a heat exchanger, a tank and a pump(305). The Peltier device makes contact with an underside of the light source so as to receive heat from the light source. The cooler makes contact with a hot side of the Peltier device so as to receive heat from the Peltier device. The heat exchanger discharges cooling liquid to an exterior by absorbing heat from the cooler. The tank stores cooling liquid discharged from the heat exchanger. The pump(305) circulates cooling liquid from the tank to the cooler. A temperature of cooling liquid is lowered in the heat exchanger by means of cooling fins. |
