PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an inner structure of a container for pushing out a rod-like item such as a lipstick in a manner to shorten the length of the container. SOLUTION: The container for pushing out rod-like items 1 is composed of a body 2 and a cap 3. The body 2 comprises movable members 21 mounted by turns from an inner side to an outer side to share an axis extended in vertical directions, an inner tube 22, an outer tube 23 and an operation tube 24. The inner tube 22 and the outer tube 23 are linked by an intermediate tube 26 which is fixed to the inner tube 22 and rotatable around the outer tube 23. At a lower part of the intermediate tube 26, a second intermediate tube 27, which is a different body from the inner tube 22 and fixed to an outer circumference surface of the inner tube 22 and to inner circumference surface of the operation tube 24, is attached.
