<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb the influence of communication interruption with movement between radio cells by performing processing after the lapse of delay time &tau from the reception of packet at a reception terminal, storing transmitted packets at a transmission side terminal in case of hand-over, transmitting the stored packets after the restart of communication and immediately processing only these packets at the reception side terminal. SOLUTION: At ordinary time, a terminal B on the side of reception performs processing after the lapse of preset delay time &tau from the reception of packet. Assuming that a hand-over procedure is started during this processing and communication interruption time (t) occurs, at such a time, a terminal A on the side of transmission stores the transmission packet to be generated during the communication interruption time (t) and transmits this stored packet after the restart of communication and at the terminal B on the side of reception, only such a packet is immediately processed. The packets to arrive later are processed after the lapse of delay time &tau again. Thus, the influence of communication interruption in case of PHS hand-over can be absorbed.</p> |
