<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a generator, a motor, a battery, an inverter, etc., in one place inside a vehicle body together with an engine in a concentrated manner, and effectively protect the generator, the motor, the battery, the inverter, etc., from the heat of the engine. SOLUTION: An electric vehicle is provided with an engine to drive a generator 3, and an electric power system to drive motors 5, 6 for traveling a vehicle through an inverter 7 with the generator 3 and a battery 4 as the power source. A power chamber 1 is demarcated in stages, and components 3-6 of the electric power system and the engine 2 are respectively arranged in the demarcated spaces. The demarcated space of the power chamber 1 is partitioned in the right-to-left direction by a heat shielding plate 15, and the engine 2 is arranged in the demarcated space on one side of the heat shielding plate 15 and the components 3-6 of the electric power system are arranged in the demarcated space on the other side thereof.</p> |
