PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting-off a laminated sheet coated with copper, by which, when a roll material has been cut-off using a rotary circular saw in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the roll material, the dimensional accuracy of the width of the laminated sheet coated with copper in the cut-off roll material obtained by cutting-off can be kept excellent. SOLUTION: In the method for cutting-off a laminated sheet coated with copper, the roll material 2 formed by winding a lengthy laminated sheet 1 coated with copper around the outer periphery of a cylindrical core 3 is cut-off in the direction perpendicular to the axis of the core 3 using the rotary circular saw 6. In this method, the roll material 2 is cut-off by the circular saw 6 rotating in the direction opposite to the rotational direction of the roll material 2, while the roll material 2 is rotated about the core 3 in the same direction as the winding direction of the laminated sheet 1 coated with copper.
