PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a mat wherein a magnificent- looking mat with a rubber sheet can be manufactured simply and easily by utilizing a conventional equipment such as a general-purpose press of the like as it is. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the mat wherein a rubber sheet at which a plurality of leg pieces for slip prevention is installed is pasted to the base cloth in which piles are implanted, after installing a molding frame 2 to pinch a metal plate 5 at which a plurality of through-holes 21 to form the leg pieces 22 for slipping prevention, an unvulcanized rubber sheet 6, the base cloth in which the pile is implanted, and a spacer 10 having an opening including the entire periphery of the base cloth 32 are sequentially installed in this order, a press vulcanization is carried out.
