PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a desiccant which is excellent in terms of hygiene since the printing surface is not exposed to the surface and also the printing layer of which can be observed clearly from outside, in addition on which any hole is not formed. SOLUTION: The packaging material for the desiccant is characterized by having a composition that a moisture permeable film layer 1 composed of any one of a nylon, vinylon or polyvinyl alcohol, the printing layer 2 and an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 3 are laminated, or a composition that the moisture permeable film layer 1 composed of any one of a nylon, vinylon or polyvinyl alcohol, the printing layer 2, the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 3, a reinforcement layer and the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer 3 are laminated.
