Spring steel catch elements are used to lock a filter docking module and filter module together and form a seal between them. A filter docking module (1) for installation in a roof-mounted filter frame (2) for one or more air filters in a clean room, comprises interconnected vertical walls (4) whose horizontal sections form a closed geometric shape (13). The top edge (6) of the wall has a U-shaped cross-section formed by a flat upper surface (7) and downwards-pointing arms (8), which receives a sealing strip in a groove (11) in the top side of a filter module (10). Catch elements (12) at the bottom ends of the walls secure the filter module inside the docking module. The catch elements are made from spring steel which spring back when the filter module is pressed upwards into the docking module, and press outwards to lock and seal the two modules together. |
