PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize and to pack a food while preventing admixture of floating fungi from the outside. SOLUTION: Each fixed amount of a food (1) in a pallet 2 is supplied to a conveying unit 3 by a selector 4 and transported. The food 1 being transported is sterilized by irradiation with an electron beam 6. The sterilized food 1 is packaged by a packaging part 7. A filter 11 for capturing/removing bacteria is arranged at the rear side of a sterilization system section 10. When exhaust is carried out by an exhausting apparatus 12 installed at the front part of the sterilization system section 10, air which is passed through the filter 11 and from which bacteria are removed is circulated from the rear side to the front side in the inside of the sterilization system section 10 and the floating fungi, etc., are prevented from attaching themselves to the sterilized food 1.
