The treatment installation for residual water functions by evaporation and catalytic oxidation, where the water is contaminated by volatile or non-volatile substances. The residual water is evaporated, mixed with prior heated dilution air, with catalytic oxidation of the vapor, concentrating the contaminants to a fraction of its previous volume. The evaporation is regulated according to the explosivity of the mixture obtained.
