STRUCTURE OF BRAKE CALIPER HOUSING FOR PREVENTING DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE

PURPOSE: A structure of a brake caliper housing for preventing differential pressure is provided to expand the life span of a pad and considerably reduce noise in operating a brake by preventing differential pressure and to improve capability by improving the structure of a finger housing of a caliper mounted to a brake system of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: Partial wear phenomenon is analyzed into an existing stress distribution(80) by measuring the surface pressure of an inner pad and the surface pressure of an outer pad. The structure of a finger housing is made up into a new structure by a present stress distribution(110) with a reinforcing part(90) and a removal part(100). The partial wear and differential pressure are prevented by optimally designing a finger housing to maximize the surface pressure effect applied on outer and inner pads and accordingly the design technology and brake capacity of a caliper is improved.
