PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof device for conduit which is light in weight and can be stably installed on the inside surface of a conduit without increasing the opening area of the conduit and can maintain an excellent soundproof effect for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The soundproof device 1 for conduit comprises a damping sheet 3 which is disposed on the inside surface side of the conduit 4 and consists of an organic polymeric material having a peak value of a tanδof≥1.5 and a restraining member 2 which is disposed on the inner surface of the sheet 2 and has a modulus of longitudinal elasticity of≥1 GPa. The preferable organic polymeric material consists of 100 parts by weight chlorine-base polymeric material having a chlorine content 20 to 70 wt.% and 50 to 300 parts by weight mixture composed of first 12 to 16C first chlorinated paraffin having a chlorine content 30 to 70 wt.% and second 20 to 50C chlorinated paraffin having a chlorine content 30 to 70 wt.% (provided that the ratio of the first chlorinated paraffin is greater than the ratio of the second chlorinated paraffin).
