<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge which eliminates fear of allowing a development roller to be abutted on a photosensitive drum and copy after the shape of a surface on the photosensitive drum in the distribution process of the process cartridge, and also to provide its separation keeping member. <P>SOLUTION: A development vessel 31 for supporting the development roller 4A is connected to a cleaning vessel 32 for supporting the photosensitive drum 1 through the use of a pin 51 so as to be rotatable. A cartridge frame body 30 is constituted to bring the development roller 4A into pressure contact with the photosensitive drum 1 by a compression coil spring 50 in the process cartridge. The separation keeping member 60 including a lower restricting part 60a, and an upper restricting part 60b is engaged with the development vessel 31 and the cleaning vessel 32 from the side part of the cartridge frame body 30 during the distribution process from the end of the production of the process cartridge till it is mounted on an image forming device main body, and, then, the photosensitive drum 1 is separated from the development roller 4A against the energizing force of the compression coil spring 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
