PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function attaining not only transmission from a user but also termination when connecting equipment to the Internet by allowing the user to distinguish and select talking or data communication. SOLUTION: A network connection aiding system is provided with a line controller 3 to which a plurality of equipment 2 for digital communication and equipment 2 for analog communication are connected to discriminate which equipment 2 is to be connected from received caller's number information and connect a line to the corresponding equipment 2 and a management device 4 connected to the line controller 3 from an exclusive communication network 5 through a public network 6 and capable of transmitting the telephone number corresponding to the equipment 2 for digital communication to the controller 3, and when the controller 3 connects the line to the corresponding equipment 2, transmitting/receiving data to/from the equipment 2 by packet communication.
