PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication method and a fixed radio access system wherein a subscriber station does not transmit a radio burst to a base station in an erroneous timing. SOLUTION: This invention provides the communication method in the fixed radio access system wherein the base station informs the subscriber station about time slot identification information used to identify a time slot assigned to the subscriber station and the subscriber station uses the time slot identified on the basis of the time slot identification information notified from the base station to make communication with the base station, is configured to include: a step of informing the subscriber station about the time slot identification information by the base station for a plurality of number of times; and a step of allowing the subscriber station to collate the time slot identification information items sent for a plurality of number of times and to use the time slot identified by the time slot identification information items coincident at a prescribed rate with each other when the notified time slot identification information items are coincident at the prescribed rate to make communication with the base station.
