Method for fabricating a CD from a rectangular carton type pattern with associated folds. The folds comprise two grooves (1) that serve to divide the sheet into three parts of which two are juxtaposed and of equal size (A, B). Said two parts are square and are slightly larger than the diameter of a CD. The third part is folded over the central part and allows insertion of the CD. The case can be made from carton, thick paper or plastic film.
