A needle support board has a series of holes (2) to carry the needles while the back of the board has grooves (5) to hold the crook of the needles. The board also has additional similar sets of holes (3, 4) into which replacement needles can eventually be fitted. The spacing between the hole sets is less than the length of the crook so that the unused holes are covered. Preferred Features: Some additional sets of holes (4) can be displaced and have their own set of grooves (6). Different hole sets carry individual markings, e.g. color codes.
