<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing order server capable of selecting a printing factory suiting a request of a user and carrying out ordering of a printed commodity. <P>SOLUTION: The printing order server is provided with a first sending means (a sending and receiving means 965) for sending product control information when a printing factory side receives an order for printing an image, a recording means 986 for recording the received product control information, a second receiving means (a sending and receiving means 957) for receiving order received information for printing the image from a terminal 80, a retrieving means (an information processing means 980) for retrieving information such as types of printed products matching or similar to the order received information from among pieces of product control information recorded in the recording means 986, and a first sending means (the sending and receiving means 957) for sending the retrieved information such as the types of the printed products to the terminal 80 of a user side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
