PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a heat extraction property by improving thermal conductivity between a coil and a stator and thermal conductivity between the coils by impregnating a clearance between the coils with varnish, even when high thermal conductivity varnish having inferior impregnability is used. SOLUTION: Insulating paper 3 and a winding 4 are inserted sequentially into a slot 2 in the stator 1. While the varnish is dropped and filled from an opening in the insulating paper 3, a coil compression jig 6 is slid to the stator 1 side. After the edge 7 of the insulating paper 3 is folded inward, the insulating paper 3 and the winding 4 are compressed to the outer periphery side of the stator 1 to make the varnish dry and cured.
