The apparatus includes a cylindrical housing (1), supplied with a pipe connection (5) for feeding the water and oil emulsion. Housing (1) is fitted horizontally on suports (2), and under the pipe connection (5) a separation device (3) is fitted in the form of a chute, at some distance from the bottom of which a perforated plate (4) is fitted. Under chute (3), in the pipe connection (5) zone an overflow barrier (6) is fitted behind which a pipe connection (7) is mounted for discharging hydrocarbons, and in front of it - a pipe connection (1) for feeding/discharging water. 3 claims, 1 figure
