PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the maximum burst error correction length of an ECC block in the constitution of BIS+LDC while arranging identification signals (ID) at equal intervals. SOLUTION: In 16 data blocks composed of 31 data strings including the data strings having the identification signals, in order to arrange the identification signals at fixed intervals, while changing the number of the data block to take out the data string to 1, 2, 3,..., 16, 1, 2,... every time one data string is taken out, the row number of the data string to be taken out from the data block is changed to 1, 2, 3,..., 31, 1, 2,... every time one data string is taken out and the data string is alternately taken out from two kinds of LDCs. The data strings are rearranged while preventing the data string from being taken out from the same BIS in the work of taking out the data strings for four times. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
