PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer the image signals captured by an imaging part at a high speed and without errors. SOLUTION: An image read control apparatus comprises an image signal processing part 14 for processing image signals from an imaging part 12, a control part 13 for generating control signals, by dividing a reference clock one-nth of a frequency generated from a reference clock generator 11 to the imaging part 12 and outputting image signals by synchronizing the control signals with the imaging part. The processing part 14 is set so as to latch the image signals from the imaging part 12 at a start-up or a falling edge of the reference clock by using high or low state of the control signals as enabling signals. Accordingly, there is no need to output signals, which are not start signals or stop signals of the image signals and to generate latch clock for detecting the start signal, so that the image signals can be transferred at high speed and without errors.
