PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the battery cover of a portable telephone with a multipurpose function to be used for multipurpose so that the practicality is kept by using the attachable/detachable battery cover of the portable telephone, and applying various mechanisms to the battery cover, and exchanging the battery cover. SOLUTION: This portable telephone with a multipurpose function is configured by attaching any of a face fastener, a magnet, a clip, a stand, and a button to the battery cover of the portable telephone, and the attaching/ detaching part of the battery cover and the portable telephone main body is provided with a backup connecting mechanism to be operated when the battery cover falls down.
