<p>It is disclosed a protective element for thermometers in contact with the skin having an infrared sensor (3) for temperature measurement, which element is provided with a spacer portion (5) designed to come into contact with the skin in case of temperature measurements and having at least one passage hole (6) to enable the radiation from the patient to pass therethrough and reach the thermometer sensor. The protective element is capable of protecting the thermometer sensor (3) against the possible presence of sweat or other impurities of the skin avoiding cleaning of the thermometer and ensuring a hygienic use in case of measurements on several subjects.</p> |
