<p>A vehicle security system includes a protective cover (12) incorporating a battery operated alarm unit (16) contained within a pocket that is attached to the inner surface of the cover (12). A cable (18) contained within the cover (12) removably connects a switch actuating plunger of the alarm unit (16) to the vehicle (14) for operating a switch to activate the alarm unit (16), producing an audible alarm in the event an intruder attempts to remove the cover (12) from the vehicle (14).</p> |
