A package (10) for storing and dispensing a desired amount of an applique on an applicator (18), such as a tube of mascara, includes a self-supporting, deformable sleeve (14) mounted intermediate the applique reservoir (20) and a cap member (16) for closing the package (10) when the applicator (18) is adjacent the bottom of the reservoir (20). The sleeve member (14) includes a n open-ended passageway (22) communicating with the reservoir (20) and is fixedly and sealingly mounted to a housing (12) for the reservoir (20). In o ne embodiment, the cap member (16) fits over and about the sleeve member (14) a nd is removably secured to the outer surface of the reservoir housing (12); whe n secured, the sleeve member (14) sealingly engages the inner end surface of t he cap member (16).
