PURPOSE: An apparatus for reducing vibration a cooling fan is provided to reduce vibration and noise generated from the cooling fan by mounting a hollow-shaped elastic member on the cooling fan of a projection device. CONSTITUTION: A vibration reducing apparatus for a cooling fan includes a cooling fan(401), a housing case(402) for fixing the cooling fan(401), and a hollow-shaped elastic member mounted on the housing case(402). The hollow-shaped elastic member is mounted at sides of the housing case(402) so as to absorb vibration. That is, the hollow-shaped elastic member is mounted at four edges of the housing case(402). The hollow-shaped elastic member is adapted for a high-speed and high-pressure cooling fan of a projection television and a projector.
