PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water pump in which the number of part items and its weight are reduced, and corrosion resistance is improved by making surface treatment fluid come in an inner part of a deep drawn hollow shaft part. SOLUTION: A pulley 20 and the shaft part 24 are integrally formed. The shaft part 24 has a hollow shape having an opening on a pulley 20 side end part. An impeller 30 side end part is blocked and a plurality of through holes 26 passing through the shaft part 25 in an axial direction is formed on a side surface in the impeller 30 side end part side.
