PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder voltage compensating system causing no waste electric power loss, and superior in power supply efficiency. SOLUTION: A feeder voltage detecting device 7 is provided for detecting voltage of a capacitor of a feeder voltage compensating device 6. When the voltage of the capacitor becomes a prescribed preset value or more, a feeder voltage command is sent out to a main machine control device 2, and the main machine control device 2 performs control for lowering output voltage of a feeder transformer station 3 on the basis of the feeder voltage command. Thus, because no system for protecting overvoltage of the capacitor by bypassing an electric current to a load resistance is required, the waste electric power loss is eliminated so that the power supply efficiency is improved.
