PURPOSE: A device for processing text data of a mobile communication terminal is provided to have a wireless scanner to recognize inputted characters, and to convert the recognized characters in desirous type, then to transmit the converted characters, thereby enabling a user to easily input the text data. CONSTITUTION: A scanner(10) reads a document. A character recognizer(20) recognizes inputted characters. A data converter(30) converts the recognized text data into voice data, text data, and fax data. A memory(40) stores the converted data. A key input unit(50) inputs an external control signal by a user, or inputs a dial signal for determining a receiver. A microcomputer(60) controls operations of each system unit according to the signal inputted through the key input unit(50), and recognizes a state of the receiver. A transceiver(70) transceives data according to the control signal. A transmitter(15) wirelessly transmits the document read from the scanner(10). A receiver(25) receives a wireless signal transmitted from the transmitter(15), and inputs the wireless signal to the character recognizer(20).
