PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera having an MF function with no defect and having good operability. SOLUTION: A photographer depresses an MF driving button to move a focusing lens when a correction mode is set in an MF mode, thereafter, when a release button is depressed to a 1st release position, a correction AF processing is performed. In the correction AF processing, a contrast AF processing is performed within an extent from the focusing lens position L1 to the position L2 with the present focusing lens position L0 as a center (within the extent corresponding to a focus detecting limit in a focusing mat), and then, the focusing lens is moved to the focal position obtained by the processing. And when the release button is depressed to a 2nd release position, an exposure processing and the like are performed, and the obtained image data is recorded on a memory card.
