PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening method for a bare ground slope and a vegetation foundation bed, which can stabilize planting in the bare ground slope even by a water flow and flooding while preventing erosion of surface soil of the bare ground slope. SOLUTION: In this greening method for the bare ground slope 2, the vegetation foundation bed 4, which is constituted by forming a protrusion 8 in a surface 7 and forming a plurality of through-holes 9 in a side surface of the protrusion 8, is laid on the slope 2; after that, a nonwoven fabric 12, in which vegetational plants 5 are planted, is laid in such a manner as to abut on a surface of the protrusion 8 of the foundation bed 4; and at least the nonwoven fabric 12 is fixed to the slope 2. The surface soil flowing down percolates through the protrusion 8 and is accumulated in it, so that a growth foundation bed for the plants can be formed and so that the planting of the slope 2 can be stabilized by intercepting the following surface soil.
