<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet treating device, an image forming device equipped therewith and a control method therefor capable of preventing the system from stopping even in the event of failure, suppressing a drop of the producibility as the system, setting the priority order of sheets one by one or bundle by bundle with the degree of influence upon the producibility taken into consideration, and achieving the purpose through a simple control. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet treating device is equipped with a plurality of driving means, a plurality of failed motion sensing means corresponding to the respective driving means, a plurality of current setting means to set the current flowing corresponding to the respective driving means, and a control means to control the driving means, failed motion sensing means, and current setting means, wherein the control means has functions to set the standard amperages of the driving means, allowable max. amperages, standard speeds, min. speed rotatable, max. speed rotatable, and the total amperage flowing through the driving means, and even in the case of failed motion, the system producibility is refrained from dropping by controlling the set values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
