PURPOSE: A method for transceiving serving HS-SCCH(High Speed-Shared Control Channel) set information in a communication system using an HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) system and a method therefor are provided to directly transmit HS-SCCH related information between a base station and a UE(User Element), thereby reducing signal delay between the base station and the UE as saving transmission resources. CONSTITUTION: A node B determines a reset of a new serving HS-SCCH set to an optional UE, determines an activation time to which the new serving HS-SCCH set is applied, with a new serving HS-SCCH set ID, and transmits a physical channel reconfiguration request message to an RNC(401). The RNC transmits a physical channel reconfiguration response message to the node B(402). The RNC transmits a radio bearer reconfiguration message or a transport channel reconfiguration message or a physical channel reconfiguration message including the serving HS-SCCH set ID and the activation time to the UE(403). The UE transmits a radio bearer reconfiguration complete message or a transport channel reconfiguration complete message or a physical channel reconfiguration complete message to the RNC(404).
