SUBSTANCE: proposed tape tread is provided with holes from inner side with seat for stud flange according to adopted stud-fitting pattern First of all through holes are made in compliance with adopted stud-fitting pattern and then pattern is displaced on tread plane and blind holes are made on tread surface for the same number of studs to depth of tolerable wear of preceding group of holes. Then studs are fitted in holes of corresponding length, thread is applied to carcass and cured. EFFECT: increased service life of studded tire with preservation of road-holding capacity of tire irrespective to wear of tread layer. 6 cl, 7 dwg
